Manifesto is a biennial major art exhibition held in Jakarta. This year’s exhibition was their fourth, and it carried the theme of “DAILY LIFE : Knowing The Sign of Time”. Hall C was like a hidden vault.
Manifesto is a biennial major art exhibition held in Jakarta, showing the latest works of prominent artists from throughout Indonesia, although it was still much dominated by those from Jakarta and Yogyakarta.
Literally translated as Media Party, Pesta Media was held to celebrate the development of the Indonesian press. I didn’t manage to go to the main events – the seminars etc – I only went to the small gig they held on Saturday evening (22 June 2013).
Melihat/Dilihat (See/(be) Seen) was an exhibition displaying works by art teachers all across Indonesia, ie. prominent artists and maestros.
