Last but not least was the performance of Bob Tutupoly and Shaggydog.
The third performance was probably the most exciting one, especially for me. Being an avid 80s music fan, the collaboration between The Upstairs and Andy Ayunir, plus a guest performance by Ikang Fawzi really made my night.
The second performers were Zeke Khaseli and Ermy Kulit – a performance I wanted to see the most.
The first performers were Benny Soebardja and the S.I.G.I.T., both from Bandung.
So basically, Koes Plus was like Indonesian version of The Beatles. And their LP’s are now the most expensive records in the market. Truly collectors’ item.
Two legends from different generations on one stage.
Margie Segers was a famous jazz singer in the 1970s, while Endah n Rhesa is an acoustic (romantic) duo who started their collaboration in 2004. The two (or actually four, in total) opened the set of main performances at Djakartartmosphere, in which cross-generations musicians collaborate.
Finally! after five months in jakarta, I saw their performance again. And I was completely mesmerised. It was jaw-dropping, knees-trembling, heart-melting.
